Well of course one of the most closed businesses in the world will not be releasing anything that gives their users choice. We know that, we’ve seen their control over the iOS in the iPhones and iPads. So we can deal with that, we can buy an Android device. Now though, another disturbing possibility coming to your Apple device–technology that can turn off cameras and recording devices when close to a concert. So I go to a Dave Matthews concert. If I take my iPhone with the thought of taking some pictures or capturing a short segment to make a ring tone out of–looks like I could be foiled.
You can find the patent at the link (Apple patent), but maybe you don’t want to read that. So why does Apple want to help the music industry more than its users. And why do the Apple fanboys not see this? Thank goodness for Android and other open source products. I really could not imagine a Mac/Windows world without other options.
