Some people say it saves money, some it wastes since they consider it junk. The argument over remanufactured ink stokes debate the like of Apple vs. PC (or Apple vs. Android these days…). While you may consider remanufactured as ‘open source’ and sticking it to the man (ie the printer manufacturers), in this case, my recommendation is always go with the good stuff. In my school district, we use new ink. We have had vendors come tell us theirs is just as good, it holds up, and will not void the warranties, but I just like the piece of mind of ‘good ink.’
Recently Lifehacker came out with a great post on ink, showing the remanufactured does not hold up. Take a look at it here: http://lifehacker.com/5735573/third+party-ink-refills-lose-a-little-in-quality-test?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+lifehacker/full+(Lifehacker)
